If you're studying Japanese and ever wanted to start reading in order to gain more immersion and language knowledge, check out the book club! We plan to have a group for regular (beginner/intermediate) readers focused on reading popular manga and easy novels, and an advanced group reading more difficult novels. To be beginner friendly, the regular group will try to read media without a heavy plot element like slice of life, so people can miss meetings and still be fully engaged in reading. We recommend you either have taken through Japanese 2001, are at least around N4 level, or already have experience immersion learning through reading.
